Unibond Humidity Absorber

We were asked if we would like to review a Unibond Humidity Absorber for our blog. We live in an old parlour house and know our house is damp in some rooms as when we were decorating and pulling the wallpaper off underneath there was mould.So this is why we accepted to try it.

When it arrived it was packaged securely, In the box was the Humidity Absorber and 2 giant tablets. There are instructions on the back of the box on how to put the tablet into the unit.

Now as we spend most of our time in the living room we decided to place the Humidity Absorber in there.
It has been the living room now for about 3 weeks, For 2 weeks the unit was dry although the tablet looked like it had started to absorb some moisture.

A few days ago however I had noticed that the tablet was darker in colour and there was a couple of drips in the unit. And last night when I checked it again there is now about a centimetre of blue water in the unit so it is obviously drawing the moisture out of the air.

As there really has been only a slight difference, I am now going to move the unit into the back bedroom where we decorated and there were visible mould and condensation.
It will be interesting to see how much moisture is in that room as it always seems to be the coldest out of all the rooms and dampest even with the heating on.
I will report my finds on this room in a few weeks time.
