Truvia is calorie-free sweetener from the Stevia Leaf and is made by Silver Spoon
I was asked to try Truvia and here are my thoughts.
I have tried sweeteners before in tablet form but never tried the actual granulated sweeteners. So this was the perfect opportunity to try it.
Each sachet of sweetener is like one teaspoon of sugar.
I received a box of Truvia with 60 sachets in it and a green Truvia pouch, There are 4 colours to collect.
The pouches are great especially if you are going to a friend or families house that does not use sweetener as the pouch holds 10 sachets. The pouch is small and can fit into the smallest of bags with no problem at all.

I am a tea lover and I like to have 2 sugars in it. So obviously I used some of the Truvia sachets in my tea. When using the sweeteners the first thing I noticed was how sweet they were. Infact after my first 2 cups of tea using Truvia, I started to use just one sweetener as it was too sweet with 2 sachets.
Truvia looks similar to sugar but it does not taste like sugar, I think it is a lot sweeter than sugar.
It is nice in tea regardless plus being calorie free I can have it without worrying about calories in the sugar.
My children tried it on their cereal and as children do opening the packet and pouring it onto their hands.
They noticed that it didn’t taste like sugar but again they liked the taste of it, it was sweet and they didn’t need as much Truvia as they would have used with sugar.
We have used the whole box of 60 sachets and will definitely be getting another box when we go shopping.
I think Truvia is great for people that want to watch their calories, trying to watch their weight, or looking out for their health.
Truvia is suitable for Vegetarians and people with Diabetes too.
I would definitely recommend this to my friends

A box of 60 sachets of Truvia costs around £2.49 and is available from most supermarkets.
