With amount of work I do at my desk it is always getting really messy with different stationary items, at one point I found 15 different pens scattered around it. The reason for this is that I write a lot and I prefer writing my ideas on paper when they can be seen by me rather than forgotten about in a file on my computer.
I was sent an Umbra Skyline Desk Organiser and hoped that this would keep my desk clear of pens as they would now be in their own little pot.
What I liked about the desk organiser first was that it is black which goes with everything else in my room and that it was really stylish with no round pot in sight.
I can fit everything in it, I have my pens, scissors, pencils, USB sticks and my phone propped up in it and it is also a great place to store all of the business cards I get given to me.
I have even stood my iPod Touch in it so when I am writing I can listen to my music.
Since having the Umbra Skyline Desk Organiser I can honestly say my desk is a lot tidier than it was beforehand and I can find my special pen in an instant instead of having to search for a while to find it.
It is designed by Rob Southcott, is made of black moulded plastic with lines, stripes and dots to the fronts and its dimensions are 15cm x 10cm x 10 cm. It will fit on any desk as it is quite small but you can fit a lot into it.
It is available at Red Candy at a price of £9.90
