Solarpod Buddy

I had never heard of a Solarpod Buddy before but I knew as soon as I read about it that it would prove invaluable to me.
The Solarpod Buddy is a solar panel that can charge your iPhone, iPad, iPod, Smart phone, Blackberry, GPS devices, dongles, remotes and just about any personal gadget you might use as long as it has a USB port.

The Solarpod Buddy is about the same size as an average mobile phone but is quite light.
On first use I charged the Solarpod Buddy via my computers USB port as this is what is required. I then just left in on the window sill or my desk to charge in the light.

I take my mobile phone and iPod touch everywhere I go and sometimes I do not have time to charge them up before leaving the house and they only last an hour or two at most leaving me without a phone or iPod touch which can be a complete pain.

Since having the Solarpod Buddy I have made us I have it in my bag when I go out and if my phone, iPod or even my iPad run low on battery I can plug the Solarpod Buddy into my device and bam it’s charging. So even with a low battery I do not have to stop using the Internet or playing my music as I can charge it everywhere I go.

This really is amazing technology. And to tell you the truth I really couldn’t live without it anymore. I nev need to be frustrated that my phone or other devices are running low again.

The Solarpod Buddy is available to purchase from  and  RRP £24.99
