Another day off for Skye today and this morning the sky was blue with fluffy white clouds. I thought this was going to be a good day, I had a call to say that my heating would be fixed this afternoon so had to stay in for access.
Just after 1pm the day crumbled yet again, we received yet another phone call stating that the part was not with them yet and so they would not be coming this afternoon to fix the boiler. But we have just had a call to say the part is now with then and that they will be here 8am in the morning. They apologetic. Fingers crossed we will finally have heating tomorrow, 11 days from when it broke.
We have made the most of it though, snuggled under blankets on the sofa watching game shows and Netflix because that is how you roll when it’s cold lol. It has actually been a nice afternoon even though we have done nothing at 3.30pm Skye’s eyes lit up, it started to snow and within 20 minutes it had settled. There wasn’t much to be honest but it dusted the pavements, grass etc. She was disappointed when it stopped until I told her were are due more.
I think snow looks so pretty, everything is white and looks so clean.
Oh gosh! So long without heating! I don’t know how you’ve managed….It’s been the coldest couple of weeks over the winter so far! You’re a trooper x

It has been really cold hasn’t it, I think last night has been the worst so far but hoping I will have a super warm house tonight.

Thank you. It is terrible but we are surviving, just means lots of layers and bed early.

I hope the heating is fixed now, there is nothing worse than being without heating in the cold. I am a teeny bit jealous of your snow though even if it is only a little 🙂
