While in the garden I looked at the state of the patio since the cold weather the weeds had pretty much taken over the whole of it even my flower pots!
As it was a nice day I decided I wanted to get rid of all the weeds and make it look like a patio once more. Got my Round Up and squirted the weeds.
Left it for a week and the weeds were dead so pretty easy to get rid of them.
I moved my large flower pots to discover a friendly little fellow hiding behind one of them. A Toad!
I am not sure what a toad would be doing by my flowerpots as there is no water or anything for it.
I placed the toad in a bucket until I had sorted the flower pot area out, which my daughter loved, She took the bucket to the end of the garden where it was shaded just so he wouldn’t get too hot!
About 15 minutes later I had finished what I was doing and placed the toad back where I found him and off he hopped behind the flower pot.
Oh yes, and my patio is now a fully functional patio without any dreaded weeds!

I always loved finding frogs in the yard! Ah, the little things in life!
