I received a pair of Pomobuk slippers and obviously, I didn’t know what colour soles I would be getting as they are all different when sent. Mine had yellow soles. I tried them on straight away and they are comfortable.
I did find they were a bit on the loose side, like both wider than regular slippers. The soles are strange as if you drag your feet towards you there is some resistance like grip on the carpet. But sliding them forward, they glide smoothly, like wet feet on a slippery floor.
They did keep my feet extremely warm though. I couldn’t wear them without socks as I do not like the feel of the fabric of the slippers. They are a wool felt fabric but they are okay with socks as I cannot feel them on my skin.
I do really like the slippers, the fact that they are eco-friendly is a huge positive. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. They are soft on the soles of your feet because there is an insole in them. There is only one colour to the slipper right now though and that is a light grey. I would like to see more variety in the colours available. I do like the surprise of what colour sole you are getting. It makes the slippers a surprise to you too even if you have bought them for yourself.
A perfect gift for anyone who gets really cold feet, or those who just need a new pair of slippers.
