Wordsworth Editions have released 12 timeless children’s classics as hardback Collector’s Editions for the very first time and they are just £6.99 each.
These lovely hardbacks are cloth-bound, with matching coloured end paper and embossed gold and coloured blocking to enhance their beautiful, bespoke cover illustrations.
We were sent all 12 of this beautiful book which features much-loved authors including J.M Barrie, Lewis Carroll, Charles Dickens and Edith Nesbitt. The set comprises of:-

I was so excited to receive these, for myself as it has been a long time since I have read any of these but for my almost 12-year-old daughter Skye. I think she will really enjoy reading them. Also, I can read them to my little boy at bedtimes too. It is never too early to introduce the world of imagination in the form of books to children. We have started Peter Pan although not gotten very far as he keeps falling asleep after a few pages. Whilst I am here wanting to read much more. I also think these books can be helpful when trying to settle children once they’ve moved into their own room or if they’re having difficulties sleeping. Skye has just started reading The Secret Garden and is thoroughly enjoying it so far.
I have wanted to read Little Women for a long while and now I have the chance.
Each book has a beautifully illustrated cover with the embossed gold which makes the books look much more expensive than they are. They’re different colours and are, of course, different thickness depending on the book but placed on a bookshelf you will see that they are all the same height. I think that they look fantastic when together as the binding also has the embossed gold and illustrations which makes it easy to find the book you want straight away.
