I have been using the Organic Children sun lotion for a few days now and here is my thoughts on it;
Organic Children sun lotion medium is 25 SPF UVB and UVA protection, the bottle is 150ml and it is made with 81% organic ingredients. With Organic Aloe Vera, Edelweiss and Elderflower.
It is scent/fragrance-free and gentle for delicate skin. So perfect for babies and children.
It is water resistant however it is recommended to always reapply after swimming.
The sun lotion is suitable for young, sensitive and delicate skin and those prone to eczema, dermatitis or other skin allergies.
The first thing I noticed when squeezing some out was that it was quite thick, not runny at all. With being thick I thought it might be hard to rub in, this was not the case though. It was very easy to rub in.
It also did not leave a greasy feel to the skin as some sun lotions do. There was no “sun lotion” smell to it which I think is great as sometimes those smells are a little overwhelming.
The Organic Children sun lotion does need to be reapplied frequently and needs to be applied liberally half an hour before sun exposure as stated on the back of the bottle.
This is perfect if you are going out for a little while or for school children, and it can easily fit into your bag.
My daughter has been taking this to school with her and the teacher applies it to her face arms and legs before going out to play and she hasn’t been sunburnt. So it does what it is supposed to do.
I would definitely recommend Organic Sun Lotion by Greenpeople as it is very important to protect your children’s skin from sun damage.
Does it do anything for mosquitoes too? I need something that does both.
Looks and sounds great, but OMG so expensive! I would love to use more organic products but normal sun lotion is expensive enough. With 3 children this would probably only last me a couple of days!
