I was a sent a tub of Nutree Brazilian Bottox Expect to try. It is a Thermo Multi-Control Mask for the hair. Now my hair had previously been in poor dry condition but it has been a lot better the past month or so, but a hair mask is always good to try.
So what is so special about the Brazilian Bottox Expert?
This is what it says on the back of the tub;
With a unique technology formula combining Collagen Marine and Glutamic Acid with the power of Almond Oil, Brazilian Bottox Expert was developed to recover the extremely damaged hair by daily aggressions, promoting deep hydration and smoothing effect, keeping the hair aligned, nourished, strong, healthy and frizz free.
It contains;
Marine Collagen – Chains of sea-sourced amino acids that fortify hair fibres to reinforce strength and repair damage.
Glutamic Acid – One of the most effective Amino Acids for hair with anti frizz and anti humidity action. It has healthy properties that can envelope the surface for intense smoothness and shine hair.
Almond Oil – Rich in Vitamin E, a potent antioxidant that promotes health to the hair, reduce the volume and frizz of the hair, because almonds contain emollients, moisturizers and smoothing properties. Recover damaged and dry hair, improving brightness, smoothness and deep hydration.
When the tub arrived, my immediate thoughts were that I loved the colour of the tub, hot pink, which stands out in my bathroom so I can find it quickly. I then opened the tub and the smell hit me, all I can say is it reminds me of a nice sweet bubblegum. If a product smells nice it makes me feel happier about trying it. I mean are you going to put something on your hair that smells horrible? Probably not!
I received step by step instructions on how to use this although there are instructions on the back of the tub also.
Wash the hair with any deep cleansing shampoo, apply the Brazilian Bottox Expert in the hair. Leave product in the hair for 30-40 minutes. Rinse. Brush the hair with a blow dryer after flat iron hair n thin and linear strands. These were the instructions on the tub.
The alternative instructions that were sent to me was,
1.Wash the hair with any Anti Residue Shampoo, pH 9 or more.
- Dry the hair 100%.
- Section the hair into 6 parts and apply the product in all hair.
- Leave the product from 30 to 40 minutes in the hair.
- Rinse the hair, removing 80% of the product.
- Blow dry the hair with round brush.
- Section the hair into parts. Flat iron the hair in thin and linear strands, about 10 to 15 times each strand.
- After flat iron your hair is ready. You have a deep hydrated and a smooth hair for up to 4 weeks.
After reading both sets of instructions I decided to follow the instructions on the tub as there is no way I can section my hair when I have washed it just with shampoo, especially when dry as it just goes into a tangled mess and it’s painful to put a brush through it like that.
So I washed my hair, rinsed it then applied the Brazilian Bottox Expert to my hair and then left it for the full 40 minutes as I have long thick hair.
The smell was just as delicious using it as when it was in the tub. After rinsing it off and drying my hair, before I put the straighteners on it I had to have a good sniff of my hair. It smelt lovely and it felt so soft and smooth.
You can’t beat a good intensive conditioning mask and this did exactly what it said on the tub. My hair although not in bad condition lately looks even better in condition now. Really shiny and soft, no frizz and it just looked super healthy.
