I prefer to vape using nic salts vaping liquid in my every day pod system. The reason for this is nic salt (nicotine salt), even the higher nicotine strength ones have never given me a throat hit, whereas the other nicotine e-liquids that use a different form of nicotine give a harsh hit to the back of the throat, the stronger they are the worse the hit, and in all honesty it tastes like someone has tipped an ashtray down my throat.
So my go-to e-liquids and the ones I get through a lot of is nic salts.
I do have my favourite go to nic salt e-liquid but I do like to try different ones, so I can change the flavour once in a while and don’t get bored.
I was sent four different flavours of Nasty Juice Nasty Salt 10ml, which are all VG: PG 50:50 and available in 10mg and 20mg nic salt strength. I received the 20mg strength.
Here are my thoughts on each of them.
Trap Queen
This fruity vape juice blend from Malaysian master mixers Nasty Juice is based on sweet garden strawberries with a refreshing minty undertone.
This is absolutely gorgeous, I have never found a strawberry e-liquid that I loved but wow this is amazing. It is not super sweet, just right in my opinion, full of strawberry flavour. I can’t say that I tasted the minty undertone that is described but that made no difference to me. It was just a perfect all-around vape for me. I could vape it every day and not get bored with it.
I used this in the Eleaf Elven pod system which I reviewed earlier.
Hippie Trail
Originally included in the Nasty Ballin range, Hippie Trail packs an explosive punch of flavours designed to wake up even the tiredest of pallets. Expect a blast of citrus fruit followed by sharp lemon and tropical lime.
Smelling and tasting this I got the distinct flavour of lemon and lime, it reminded me very much of Sprite drink. It was really nice although after a while of vaping with it I did find it started tasting a bit odd, maybe my taste buds.
It was refreshing, not something I would vape all day but I could definitely vape it frequently.
Silver Blend
A favourite from Nasty Juice’s tobacco range, silver blend features and intriguing blend of rich smooth tobacco artfully combined with vanilla custard. Expect a dark tobacco inhale finished off with a sweet finish on the exhale.
When I gave up smoking and switched to vaping I didn’t want to vape tobacco, let’s be honest there are so many great flavours with e-liquids, why would I particularly want to have the tobacco taste or smell around. I have tried tobacco flavours before and I don’t like them. But as these were sent to be reviewed too I had to try them.
This one was the better of the two I received, it had a tobacco flavour but the vanilla custard, although I couldn’t really taste the custard, I could the vanilla and it did sweeten the taste.
I am not a fan like I said, so I wouldn’t buy it myself. It was ok though.
Bronze Blend
Ported over from Nasty Juice’s tobacco range, Bronze Blend offers layers of sweetness and rich tobacco tones, featuring a woodier tobacco and a distinct caramel on the exhale.
I really didn’t like this one, like I said I don’t like tobacco flavours anyway. With this one I didn’t get any of the sweetness it states, just a strong, rich tobacco flavour. Perhaps a slight taste of caramel but for me, it was not nice at all. It had a really strong smell to it too.
So above are my honest opinions on the four Nasty Juice Salts that I was sent to review. Obviously, something I may not like could potentially be your next favourite e-liquid, we all have different tastes.
