I was sent some specially adapted left handed stationery to review, which may I add I was very excited about. Being left handed is really hard sometimes. I always felt in school that they didn’t have the equipment that I needed to be able to write and carry out some tasks for example when writing I always feel that the pens are uncomfortable.
When I saw that I was given special left handed pens called Visio Pens, I couldn’t wait to use them. I thought these pens were very clever. If you’re left handed you will know the struggle that when you write you always end up smudging your writing or not being able to see what you are actually write. These pens are amazing, they do not smudge and you can see exactly what you are writing which is a first for me. The pen also has a grip which makes it easier for me to write and it is not uncomfortable either. This is an absolutely perfect pen for left-handers like me and I love that I can write comfortably and neater with this pen.
Amongst the pens I also found an I-Gloo pencil sharpener. Now I have never ever heard of a left handed sharpener not in my entire life. I found the sharpener really interesting as it is anti clockwise instead of clockwise because us ‘lefty’s’ like to be backwards. I sharpened my pencil with it and at first I did it wrong because I am so used to using a ‘normal’ sharpener that I completely forgot. As I started to use it more and more I started to wonder why I had never had one of these before it is so convenient and so much easier to use and is perfect for me.
I was also sent a left handed geometry set. I am so disappointed that I never had a left handed ruler, protractor and set square when I was younger. Most of my school times I struggled with reading the numbers the opposite way, I must admit now I am used to it but this would have made everything so much easier. I never ever knew that you could get these. They have the numbers on the opposite end to what it is usually on and it is so much easier to read especially if you were at school and left handed. I used to write on the left hand of the page because that was just normal for me. When measuring lines I used to read it from 30cm and work my way backwards because that was just easier for me, obviously everyone is different but these would have made my maths work and normal work so much easier for me and I may not have struggled so much.
The last thing I reviewed were 3D sensoft 16cm left handed scissors now we all know which were the left handed scissors in school the yellow and green ones right?, These Maped ones are totally different they have flexible grips so they are comfortable to cut in. I cut with either my left or right hand I must have picked that up at school everyone had their scissors in their right hand and they always had the red scissors so I must have copied them. The handles are comfortable to use and it helps me to be able to cut in more a straight line. My cutting, I must say has improved whilst using these scissors and I do not struggle as much to cut when using my left hand.

as for the visio pen the design looks the same as the swanneck pen which is also very good for left handers and they have been making them for a lot longer, why not try a swanneck pen i know the metallic range are good and there is an aluminium that comes in a presentation case I would also 100% recommend them to all my left handed friends and anyone else .
