I have been wanting to change my bedroom for a while, when we first decorated it, it was basically a quick paint job and that is as far as we got. It has been a few years now since it was done so it’s about time it was done properly but also I want things that match the décor too.
I have already got the bed I want, it is a black metal frame with crystals (think The Crystal Maze) on each post. But now that the bed is black I want to have things to match it.
I have been looking on homify for some inspiration and have found a few designs that have peaked my interest and I actually didn’t realise how many different styles of furniture and accessories were available.
The first thing that I really liked was the wardrobe in this photo. It even has a light in there which is really cool but what I really liked was that it has two levels so even more space for all my clothes and it has a sliding door which is much better than pull out doors.
But then I got to thinking, wait a minute, we will be having magnolia/cream walls so we could actually choose cream coloured furniture too and it would still go. I then spotted this…
Although it isn’t as big as the black one it still has plenty of room in it, it would also match the walls. It also leaves the possibility that as it will fit a lot in then we may not need chest of drawers and the TV could be put on the wall.
So the final thing to look for was bedside cabinets and I thought these ones would match with the wardrobe quite well.
In my thoughts my bedroom would be more spacious with these ideas so if I decided on a dressing table/makeup table we would be able to fit that in with still more space.
I am really excited to start my bedroom product now I have the ideas on what I want.
