1. Embrace The Natural Look
A lot of women with curly hair will simply allow the chips to fall where they may, so to speak, by embracing the natural look and not making too many unnecessary alterations. Every natural look for your hair starts off in the same way, with a few sprays of serum, followed by a quick air dry. Women who are working with hair that is on its second or third day will not need as much product. However, those with frizzier locks may require a little extra tender loving care.
2. The Updo
The ratio may differ for some women and the trick is to have the front looking its best first. Flip the ponytail to the front and use your fingers to properly arrange the hair. Use pins to secure the look and push the curls that are already in the front forward. To complete the updo, pin them, so that they are able to lay on your forehead like fringe.
3.Faux Bob
Bobs are always a great choice, because they never seem to go out of style. To create a faux bob, use an elastic band to secure a ponytail at the nape of the neck. From there, slide the hair down until you’ve made the ponytail teeny tiny. Tuck the ponytail underneath, where it can’t be seen. Roll the hair towards the neck, so that it can reach a bob length. Once you’ve accomplished this step, use pins to secure it.
4. Mastering Waves
To complete the wavy look, you’ll need a half inch iron. The hair should be dry and unwashed for at least 48 hours. Use the iron to create one inch sections of hair, keeping them away from the face. While curling all of the hair on your head may seem time consuming, the look lasts for at least a week without any touching up. To properly separate the curls after ironing, use a bit of serum.
