We were sent another Degustabox last month and I had to open it straight away, who can resist a box that has arrived and you don’t know what you will get in it?
If you have not heard of Degustabox before, it is a monthly subscription box full of food and drinks to try and most of the products are full size products.

Having a young child that can often wake in the night means I have to have my wits about me but I do miss relaxing in front of the TV in the evening with a glass of something, instead of a cup of tea or a hot chocolate so Eisberg being in this month’s box was lovely. I was able to drink a lovely chilled glass of alcohol free wine and still get up with my son during the night. Plus no nasty headache in the morning.

I cannot eat spicy or anything with coconut in it so we have not tried this. I am sure my husband will use it at some point for a meal for him and the children though.

Who doesn’t like HARIBO? We didn’t know that there was summer flavours released so these were a nice surprise in the box. Both the Starmix and the Tangfastics were really nice, the flavours were new and different and the whole family enjoyed them. We have not found them in the shops near us though so are a bit gutted about that.
Spoon Apple + Peanut Granola – Our granola uses a short list of quality ingredients, including wholegrain jumbo oats, crispy coconut chips, whole roasted peanuts and baked apple pieces. We only use natural sugars, honey and our not-so-secret ingredient, maple syrup, which contains more nutrients than regular sugar. Best enjoyed with natural yoghurt and/or milk.
We tried the granola with milk, it was really nice, it was all stick together with honey and maple syrup so it was a bit difficult to judge 1 serving but it was delicious.
Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread Scottie Dogs – Walkers Scottie Dog Shortbread is a novelty treat that is loved by both adults and children. Attractively packaged, these playful Scottie dogs are made with only the finest quality ingredients, giving them the same wonderful Walkers taste.
When I opened these up I was a little disappointed to find that all of the Scottie dogs were broken. However that did not defer from the taste. We love shortbread and these were as expected, really nice!
Light Bites – Mango with Vanilla Yoghurt Fruit Chips – Mango with Vanilla Yoghurt Fruit Chips – Tasty freeze dried fruit and yoghurt chips only 46 calories per bag and 100% fruit and yoghurt.
I really like snacks like these because they are healthy. It is only a small bag but the fruit chips are delicious and perfect for a healthy snack mid morning.
Light Bites – Superfood Fruit Bar – Light Bites – Deliciously healthy snacks. Superfood Fruit Bar with goji berries, quinoa, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries and pumpkin seeds. Snack virtuously!
This bar is delicious and so good for you. I am sure everyone has heard of superfood by now and there is great things said about it.
If you are not keep on quinoa etc trust me, you wouldn’t even know it is in the bar. It is really fruity and tasty.

We haven’t tried this yet, but I will definitely be using the BBQ Pulled Chicken one in the next few weeks. The Spicy Buffalo Wings are extra hot so I know we won’t be using them. If they are anything like other Schwartz products we have tried in the past then I know they will taste great.

Rosie’s Pig Handbrake is a cloudy sparkling cider with damson with a unique fruity taste.
While the weather is nice, I think it is nice to sit in the garden in the evenings with a drink in hand, we split a can of each between us. I wasn’t keen on the rhubarb one if I am honest but the damson one was absolutely lovely. I would definitely purchase it in the future.
