I love Diamond Painting as does my daughter Skye so when we were sent D.I.Y Crystal Card Kit from Craft Buddy, we had to make the big decision on who was going to actually do it. Well, in the end, we decided that Skye could do it.
The card we received was a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year one, with a family of penguins in their Christmas attire and Christmas tree and winter scene behind them.
Inside the packet there was;

It boasts that it is no fuss, no mess, no glue.
Skye got to work on this straight away, because she wanted to give the card to someone special. It is so easy to use. You will see at the nib of the pickup pen there is a hollow it in there, you dig that into the jelly wax so it is in the hole. This is what makes the crystal pieces stick to the pen for moving from the tray to the card. Put a few of the coloured crystals you need into the tray and pick one up. You need to pick them up so the bottom of the crystal is facing downwards.
Pull the plastics covering on the card up, but don’t pull it completely off as under that is the sticky part of the card where the crystals stick. Place the crystal on the letter or number it is supposed to be on using the pickup pen to move it into place if it is a bit wonky.
Skye spent several hours completing the crystal card. It actually makes a nice change seeing her do something that is not an electrical device.
The only mess was a few stray crystals on the floor but they were easily picked up.
Now it is finished she is going to write in it ready to send it to that special person.
This would make a great little stocking filler for any crafty children or adults too.
