Our main character Janey is married to Isaac and has an 8 year old son called Rowan, She has just lost her mum who revealed on her deathbed a secret that devastated Janey but as the months go by Isaac gets a new job and they move into a bigger house on a crescent that she could only dream of. But of course, this is a thriller and things aren’t all they seem!
Oh, this was so good, I am still trying to process this book in my mind and I finished it days ago! There were small chapters that I was confused over but they all become clear later on in the book.
It was fantastic and full of surprises, twists and turns I was not expecting at all.
I love K. L. Slater’s books and I was excited to read Little Whispers and it did not fail in its expectations, grabbing me early on and keeping me on the edge of my seat, it was utterly brilliant.
Author Bio
For many years, Kim sent her work out to literary agents but never made it off the slush pile. At the age of 40 she went back to Nottingham Trent University and now has an MA in Creative Writing.
Before graduating, she received five offers of representation from London literary agents which was, as Kim says, ‘a fairytale … at the end of a very long road!’
Kim is a full-time writer and lives in Nottingham with her husband, Mac.
