Valentine’s Day is the day that people spread the love, whether it to be to their spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, a person they like but haven’t told yet, some parent’s also share the day with their smaller children, sending a card to them.
Did you know in 2018, it was reported that Valentine’s Day overtook Easter and Mother’s Day for the amount of money that people in the UK spent.
I was approached by Funky Pigeon and asked if I would like to review some personalised Valentine’s Day gifts on the blog. I was able to choose the gifts myself and after having a good look I decided on a personalised cushion, a personalised box of chocolates and a personalised keyring.
So first the cushion, the Gold Heart Initials Personalised Cushion is a complete cushion with cover, the cover is printed with your personalisation.
I chose this as it does not have photo personalisation, I do already have photo personalised items so wanted something a little different this time.
The cushion is printed on one side, the back is white. There is a gold pattern background to the design with a gold heart top centre and two crossed arrows going diagonal. In the centre is where the personalisation goes, I chose R & R as it is Rachel & Roger and Est. 2006 as that is the year we met and married too.
The cushion is really soft and I absolutely love the design and personalisation on the cushion, I didn’t tell my husband that it was coming so it was a surprise to him, he said it is nice and would good on the sofa or even on the bed, as the colours on the cushion go well with most other colours in the rooms. It is nice and soft on the head or to cuddle with when watching a film.
The Gold Heart Initials Personalised Cushion is £19.99, there are other cushions in the collection that can be personalised with wording or photos or both. It is worth having a look at the whole collection.
Next, we have Personalised Hugs & Kisses Chocolates. This is a personalised box of 18 luxury Lily O’Brien’s Desserts chocolates, the collection includes Hazelnut Torte, Passion Fruit Posset, Banoffee Pie, Crème Brûlée, Raspberry Infusion and Key Limey Pie chocolates.
The cover of the box is personalised and you can change the HUGS & KISSES and NAME sections.
I chose these because the chocolates are dessert type fillings, I often find there are many chocolates in a box of chocolates that I don’t like or my husband doesn’t like so a few get wasted, however, we both like desserts and the only chocolate I wasn’t sure on was the Crème Brûlée ones but my husband ate them, so that means ALL of the chocolates were eaten.
The detail on each chocolate makes them look like little desserts too.
This is perfect for people who like a different style of chocolate. They cost just £12.99 which I think for a box of chocolates that is personalised is really good value.
Finally, I chose a bit of a novelty gift, a Love You Photo Keyring. All of Funky Pigeon keyrings are produced using superior wear-resistant materials, the hard-wearing designs use a patent locking nylon connector, making them durable and easy to use.
The keyring measures 35mm x 50mm and the design are printed on both sides. I chose a silly SnapChat photo of me and my husband that we took in the summer because we both like it and it shows our silly sides, the kids love it too.
