I was offered the chance to try out some Vapemate e-liquids, which is one of the cheaper ranges available from E-Cigarette Direct obviously I snapped it up straight away, I love trying out new flavours from different brands, as they can be so different even when they are the same flavours.
So here is a little about the Vapemate e-liquids range;
The Vapemate range is manufactured right here in the UK, made with pharmaceutical grade nicotine and produced to strict ISO9001 standards. All e-liquids are packaged in plastic, childproof 10ml bottle. The vape juices featured here come with a VG: PG range of 50:50, making them ideal for mouth to lung vapers using lower powered devices.
They are available in 1.2% (12mg) or 1.8% (18mg) nicotine strength in this particular store.
I chose 12mg simply because there was no lower strength available and there were30 different flavours to choose from. I picked 4 from the classic range and chose;
- Energy Drink
- Raspberry Menthol
- Caramel
- Peppermint
All are VG: PG 50:50
Energy Drink
Inspired by a popular energy drink, this vape juice by Vapemate features a concoction of fruits designed to make your tastebuds dance.
Giving the bottle a quick sniff I could definitely get the popular fruity energy drink scent wafting up my nose. It smelled delicious! Upon vaping it, it definitely tasted of the energy drink. Maybe a little muted for my taste as I love a stronger flavour, but still a good -e-liquid to vape with.
Raspberry Menthol
This cool fruity flavour takes the sharp but sweet tang of fresh raspberries and combines it with a cooling blast of menthol for a refreshing, juicy vape.
This one smells of freshly picked raspberries from the garden. I couldn’t pick up the menthol in it just from smelling it though.
Vaping it was really nice, a smooth hit of raspberry menthol entangled within each other, it was a nice pleasant taste. Perfect for when I have a cold, blocked sinus or even just an everyday vape.
Caramel
Designed for vapers with a seriously sweet tooth, this e-liquid captures the essence of pure caramel flavour.
I absolutely love caramel, I have such a sweet tooth it is unbelievable so I just had to pick this flavour as an e-liquid. Smelling it, it smelt like warm caramel just how I had expected it to smell. Vaping it, oh yes it is delicious! A lovely caramel flavour, warm and inviting. This is definitely a nice one to be vaping on a cold evening to make you feel warm and snuggly.
Peppermint
A minty fresh vape, this classic peppermint is designed to refresh and is perfect for cleansing the palette!
Smelling from the bottle, I could definitely pick up the peppermint scent, it reminded me of polos.
Vaping it the strength of peppermint is just right for my taste, not too strong but also not too weak. It reminded me of candy canes and humbugs and of course polos too. This could definitely be an all day vape e-liquid, it is so refreshing.
All of the Vapemate e-liquids are £2.99 each for a 10ml bottle or 3 for £8.37 at the moment.
Overall the flavours were pretty good for a budget brand and I would purchase more if I could get a lower nicotine strength.
