One of the best parts about decorating for Christmas is the many items available to work with. Almost anything can be used as ornaments but once again, remember that it all depends on the look you are going for.
You can go wild with garlands, colorful baubles, some ribbons, stockings for the fireplace, and gingerbread cookies in different shapes. It may not be necessary to invest in new ornaments if there are some on the ground or you are willing to make new ones yourself.
