Being someone that makes handmade items I appreciate the time an effort that goes into individual handmade items. I was sent 2 handmade soaps from The Bakewell Soap Co. The first soap was Rhubarb, Raspberry & Coconut Cream with desiccated coconut. This is what it says on the back of the packet;
Skin-loving coconut pulp, rhubarb root extract and a unique blend of butters & oils make this soap a highly moisturising fruity delight to use!.
It is SLS and parabens free.
The soap is a deep red colour and smells gorgeous and fruity. when using it does feel a little oily and it does take a bit of time to completely lather up. It did make my hands feel clean after using and quite moisturised.
The second soap from The Bakewell Soap Co I got to try was Patchouli & Lime with Ginseng Extract.
This is what it says on the back of the packet;
A natural antiseptic and deodorising soap with Siberian Ginseng that can help maintain healthy, fresh-looking skin. Made with a blend of butters & oils for a silky, moisturising lather. SLS & Paraben free.
This soap was a cream colour with brown splashes to it. As soon as it was taken out of the packet I could smell the gorgeous lime and patchouli. It smells like an antibacterial soap.
When using it again felt a little oily, but this one lathered up really well. My hands felt soft and clean, also smelling clean plus softer.
If I had to pick a favourite of the two I would choose the Patchouli & Lime soap as it has a great soapy with a hint of something else scent to it. My hands also felt softer with this compared to the Rhubarb, Raspberry & Coconut Cream.
