Money is tight especially with utility bills going up, the children outgrowing their clothes and Summer being on the way which means a whole new wardrobe especially with the youngest child as she doesn’t stop growing. The problem I have there is that most of the clothing I bought her last year for Summer and Winter have barely been worn because she grows so quickly I would rather sell clothes rather than bin them when they are in such good condition. At least that way I will make some money towards new clothes for her.
I have also lost a lot of weight so again the clothes that I bought last year no long fit me plus I seem to hoard a great deal of clothes in my wardrobe that I have never even worn taking up valuable space. I cannot keep wearing baggy jeans and trouser with a belt because they are starting to look ridiculous.
Luckily for me and you if you want to earn a little money from your old clothes, online there are websites that let you sell your old clothes and you can make a bit of money from it.
It isn’t just clothes though. I had absolutely tons of things I wanted to get rid of, DVDs that have been watched once and forgotten about, games console games that seem all the rage for about two weeks and shoved to the back of the cupboard because a new game has taken the shine off of it.
Looking in your drawer, how many mobile phones do you have stashed in there because they might come in handy if your new phone breaks? I had three. I mean really if my phone breaks why would I need three? Plus the fact that if it did break would I really wants to use them. Sell them!
From a hoarders point of view it is really hard to get rid or sell anything. I like to put things away just in case I need them, but thinking realistically. I most probably will never need them again and they would probably be totally out of fashion by the time I decided that I did need them. So as it is Spring I am doing a Spring Clean starting with clothing and my collection of shoes that have never been, selling them and then going shopping for a complete new wardrobe for my daughter.

I did exactly that last weekend, had a massive clearout and took it all to a bootfair on Sunday – made £200! Then what was left from it we bundled up and took to one of those pay by weight clothing banks…got £9 for the tat nobody wanted 🙂 http://www.toothpasteonyourtshirt.blogspot.co.uk
