I have many Stargazer Cosmetics products in my cosmetic box but there are some things I haven’t tried and so I was overjoyed when Stargazer sent me some cosmetics to review that I hadn’t tried yet.
The reason I like Stargazer as a brand is that their cosmetics are in great colours that I find difficult to find anywhere else for the same price. I also like that the products are all very affordable.
This is what I received;
UV Pink 11g – £3.00
UV Orange 11g – £3.00
Use the Hair Mascara applicator to streak or highlight the hair with washes of Neon Bright coloured lines. The Vibrant Neon colours glow under UV lights (black light or fluorescent light). The Hair Mascara brush comes in ten colours that are easy to apply, are long lasting and wash out instantly with a single shampoo.
The hair mascara is something not only I use in the house, both of my daughter love it too. I thought that the pink would be my favourite colour but I think it has to be the orange, it pops so much better than the pink and looks fabulous.
I only colour one chunk of hair and it just gives it that bit of difference. If I go out I would put more in as it is UV and looks really cool under the lights.
They wash out really easily without leaving any colour in the hair and for £3.00 each I think they are a great price.
Shade 135 (cherry red) 5.2g – £3.50
Shade 138 (pink) 5.2g – £3.50
The lipsticks are available in a large spectrum of gorgeous highly pigmented shades and finishes anywhere from hot pink lips, luscious red lips to rebellious Black lips. Even though the range is made up from unusual shades the lipsticks are still comfortable to wear, easy to apply and are long lasting.
I do not usually wear any type red lipstick but for the sake of the review I did try it. I liked now it glided onto my lips easily. I did like the colour as it is not as red as it looks on the stick and it feels nice on my lips.
It is not long lasting though and does need reapplying throughout the day but I think a good lipstick sealer would stop it having to be applied so often.
The pink is very light pink and has a shimmer to it. I found this harder to apply, the stick seemed quite hard and barely any lipstick was being transferred from the stick to my lips. It did get better the more times I used it though. The colour was nice although not eye popping colour, it was a barely there colour. Again it is not long lasting but a lipstick sealant would most probably help with that.
Both were nice colours, I actually love the cherry red one which is shocking considering I don’t wear red of any kind in cosmetics.
For the price I think they are great lipsticks.
Mascara – Black 10g – £3.00
Plump up your lashes with the Stargazer mascara. The medium bristle wand darkens and lifts, separating each individual lash for precision definition capturing every lash. The colours are strong and definitely eye catching.
Available in 6 colours, Black, Red, Blue, Pink, Turquoise and Violet.
I wear black mascara all of the time and was interested in how this mascara would apply and look. It was really easy to apply and layer up as much as I wanted to. It did not make my lashes look any longer but that was not the purpose of it. It darkens the lashes and is great for everyday use.
I would love to see Stargazer Cosmetics releasing a waterproof mascara though as my eyes water a lot in the summer with allergies.
Purple Passion 3.5g – £4.00
Golden Raspberry 3.5g – £4.00
Aqua 3.5g – £4.00
A high pigment pressed eye shadow that is longwearing for shading, highlighting and lining the eyes. The eye shadow blends evenly and can be applied sheer or layered for a stronger colour effect. The multi function formula applies colour evenly and blends easily with crease resistant colours. This is available in 52 shades.
I like to change my eyeshadow colours around as I do not see why you have to wear the same shade every day, I usually go for a smoky look with either blacks and greys, purples, browns, and pinks.
I was excited to try the colours I received to review apart from the Aqua, I never wear blue around my eyes. The colour did pop with this it is very blue. It looks nice but just not the colour for me.
I loved both the golden Raspberry and Purple Passion shades though with a bit of blending these looked really nice. I particularly loved the Purple Passion as it shimmers whereas the other two do not.
A total cost of all of these products is just £28.00 for 8 products. Which is very reasonable and affordable.
I will be getting some more to add to my collection very soon.
