‘TAILS’ OF FUN, MISCHIEF AND FRIENDSHIP

“PETER RABBIT – THE TALE OF THE GREAT RABBIT AND SQUIRREL ADVENTURE”

Fun, friendship and adventure abound once more with further tales to delight Beatrix Potter fans everywhere as Peter Rabbit and friends return in a new DVD collection, released by Abbey Home Media on Monday 24th October.

Join our hero, Peter Rabbit, in this fifth installment of his animated adventures. Peter tells a curious Cotton-tail how he and Squirrel Nutkin became friends and how Nutkin’s lost his tail. Soon Peter is on an adventure to retrieve Nutkin’s tail, even though it means going to Owl Island! This charming DVD collection features over seventy minutes full of fun, mischief and adventure, in 6 action packed adventures. Let’s hop to it!

With a taste for radishes and a thirst for adventure Peter Rabbit is the lovable and extraordinary friend you longed to hang out with when you were a kid. But when the chips are down and danger lurks, there’s no better friend to have around than Peter and his boundless courage will always see him through.

Peter Rabbit – The Tale of the Great Rabbit and Squirrel Adventure features the following episodes: – The Tale of The Rabbit and Squirrel Great Adventure; The Tale of Old Brown’s Feather; The Tale of The Wiggly Worms; The Tale of Two Enemies; The Tale of Fierce Bad Rabbit; The Tale of Mr Tod’s Trap.

We were sent this DVD and I knew Zander would like it as he likes to watch Peter Rabbit on CBeebies. I decided to put it on while I was cooking the dinner as it is always hard to keep him entertained while I am juggling with food, hot pans etc in the kitchen.

As soon as he saw what it was his face lit up, he may only be 6 months old but he knows what he likes and Peter Rabbit is obviously one of those likes. He gave lots of smiles and started chatting to it.

This has been a godsend for times when I need to actually get on with cooking or a bit of housework to keep him entertained even if it is only on for five minutes.

The DVD has 6 episodes on it and runs for just over 70 minutes, although for us we haven’t actually got through the whole 70 minutes in one sitting.

It is a great DVD and would make a fantastic stocking filler this Christmas and it only costs £4.99 on Amazon!

My little boy is 21 months and he adores peter rabbit. I don’t quite get it because personally I think he’s still a hit young for it but he goes crazy when it comes on lol

We would LOVE to win this, my daughter is crazy about Peter Rabbit; one of her only words is ‘Lily’ because of Lily Bobtail; we had a peter rabbit themed party for her 2nd birthday and took her to meet Peter & Lily. We’re watching it every day so some fresh episodes would be very exciting for us as I am overly-familiar with the episodes on iPlayer! <3

Peter Rabbit venturing into Farmer McGregors garden was my favourite as a child, my daughter loved it too and hopefully my little grandson will adore it in the future.

It’s no surprise that Peter Rabbit is still featuring in children’s products. A lovely story. Thanks for the giveaway.
