I have a quite a few photo canvas prints in my home of my 2 daughters but I haven’t got around to getting one with my son on it yet, terrible considering he is 2. I was asked if I’d like to review a canvas on my blog from My-Picture and I happily accepted.
There is a variety of sizes to choose from and at special prices. Sometimes when you see cheap prices you may think that the quality is going to be shocking, in all honesty, I did have the same thoughts but I can hand on heart say that the canvas I received was amazing quality.
The process of ordering is really quick and easy, first choose which size canvas I wanted, I chose 75×50 cm. The next step was to choose the photo I wanted on the canvas, upload it and then view it to make sure it is ok. There are other options on the left-hand side, Easel Back, Frame Thickness, Edge Design and Effect. I kept them all the same apart from the Effect, the original photo was in colour but I absolutely love black and white photos, and all my photos are black and white in the living room where it would be put up. Once I was happy I went to the cart. I then added the hanger kit separately which was easy to find as it is in the shopping cart section so I just had to add it to the cart. Then I completed the checkout process.
I received an order confirmation within minutes and just 2 days later it had been dispatched via UPS. The canvas is made in Germany and it took a couple more days before it was delivered which I thought was a good delivery turn around since it comes from overseas.
Of course, I opened the parcel straight away to inspect it and I was totally over the moon with it. It is just how I had expected it to look, fantastic quality and the image was as sharp as the original photo. Ok so this photo does not do it justice as I had the flash on so let’s try again without the flash…
Now it looks yellow, the lighting is terrible, it is dark and gloomy outside, but look how gorgeous the canvas is!
With the hanger set provided my husband got to work straight away hanging the canvas. He did struggle a bit with it bless him, not with the actual hanging but I wanted it right next to the canvas of his sister which is the same size so getting it to sit level to the other was a bit harder than we had anticipated.
Once up it looked fantastic, I absolutely adore it. We even had a bit of mistaken SnapChat fun with it.
My husband and I would love to get a canvas of all three children together but with the oldest living with her partner and working it is hard to get them all together when they are in a decent mood. Our goal in the next few months is to get them together, Christmas day seems the perfect time as most children are happy on that day. So we will definitely be getting another canvas from My-Picture.co.uk in the near future as the price and quality are fantastic.
