My daughter is seven now but I always struggle with shampoos for her as a lot of the child shampoos on the market wash her hair good but getting a comb through it afterwards is a complete nightmare and I do worry that the shampoo I use on my hair may be a bit harsh for her delicate hair. This is why when I was asked if I’d like to review a product from Big Green Smile I chose to review Organic Children Berry Smoothie Shampoo.
Organic Children Berry Smoothie Shampoo is designed specifically for children, it is gentle for delicate skin .
When I opened the tube the scent of smoothie was definitely there, it smelt just as our berry smoothies smell , it is very fruity with the aromas of raspberries, vanilla and pineapple which pleased my daughter as she said it smelt delicious. It also contains organic Aloe Vera and is packed with plant proteins and Yucca for soft. shiny hair that is easy to comb.
Washing her hair was really easy, I found just a small amount of the shampoo is enough as a little goes a long way and it lathers up a lot, another thing that kids love as you can make funny hair styles. It rinsed of really easily.
I combed my daughters hair while wet and I found that the comb glided easily through her hair, it wasn’t completely tangle free but there was only two or three compared to a full head of tangles with other shampoos I think this is great.
Once her hair was dry it looked and felt really soft, smooth and shiny.
I really do like the Organic children Berry Smoothie Shampoo as does my daughter. It is suitable for children who may be prone to eczema and psoriasis. It is also free from SLS/SLES, Parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrances.
I would definitely use this again for my daughter.
