I love marshmallows and had heard of Marshmallow Fluff just a few weeks ago, and with that I wanted to try it. I received a jar of Artificial Strawberry Flavour Marshmallow Fluff, it’s net weight was 213g.
One the back of the jar is a recipe of making cheesecake although my kids started dipping their fingers into the jar as soon as they saw it and there wasn’t quite enough left to make it.
I decided to make some rice crispy cakes instead. They are much quicker to make and I know my kids will definitely eat them too.
I found that the Marshmallow Fluff tasted just like the normal insides of a marshmallow like when you have toasted it over an open fire. It is extremely sticky but so moreish!
I have since looked online for other things to use the Marshmallow Fluff for as when I buy more I am not allowing the kids to stick their fingers into it and eat it all. You can make fudge with it, cakes, add it to ice cream sundaes, whoopie pies and even put it in sandwiches. I am really looking forward to making more with it. suprisingly there is 40kals per 12g (2 tablespoons) of Marshmallow Fluff and no fat. It also has just 5 ingredients: Corn syrup, Sugar, Dried Egg white, Colour: Beetroot Red and Flavouring.
Marshmallow Fluff is available in two flavours, Vanilla, and Strawberry. It is available from all major stores RRP £1.99
