Leggings are a staple to many people wardrobe, but so many that look nice in the shop then you get home and find they are practically see-through and more like thick tights. There is nothing worse than see-through leggings. I also find that the majority in the shops are black. I mean yes I like to wear black but a bit of variety once in a while is also good.
I was asked if I’d like to try a pair of Love Leggings leggings, I had not heard of the company before so after checking their website out, I happily agreed.
On the website Love Leggings have something for everyone; Every Day Leggings in classic (full length), cropped and high waisted, Curved in full length, cropped and high waisted, Maternity in full length and cropped, Sports, Children in full length and cropped and Tights in 40, 60 and 100 Denier. Sizes from 4-28.
Not only do they have a style for everyone but they are all available in so many colours, black, white, navy, true blue, oatmeal, intense pink, dark grey marl, khaki green, acai purple, red wine, light grey marl, chocolate brown, infinity blue marl, poppy red, classic green, buttercup yellow and tiger orange. That is an absolutely HUGE range of different colours.
I chose high waisted in Acai Purple colour and waited for them to arrive.
They arrived very quickly and were packaged well. As soon as I pulled the leggings out of the bag I could feel that they were good quality and thick. The inside of the leggings is like soft brush cotton. They are made with 95% cotton and 5% Elastane. The stitching looks like it will withstand the stretching it may get.
I was going to have these for myself but as my daughter is the same size as me she wanted them. She tried them on and the first thing she said was that they were so warm and soft. They fit her lovely, the high waist was a perfect fit without digging in. Checking all around her they are definitely not see-through. They were so comfortable according to her, so wait, let me try them on.
Yes, I can 100% agree with her, they are soft, warm and comfortable. They are perfect for autumn and winter paired with boots and a big snuggly jumper.
Does the colour run when washing, no I didn’t find any colour run, I did use a colour catcher just in case?
The only issue I had is that I NEED MORE as you cannot tumble dry them it can be hard to get them dry quick enough to wear again and once they are dry my daughter pinches them. So I am going to have to go on the site and order some more, the intense pink ones are calling me lol.
For the quality of these leggings, I think the prices are very reasonable from £13.50 and children’s from £8. They feel like they will last a long while so definitely worth the price. They are one of the best leggings I have had.
