Ladies Marske Quilted Jacket

We were contacted by the lovely people at Rydale and asked if we would like to review something from their website. After having a good look around I decided on a lightweight jacket as it is still quite warm outside but it has been raining quite a bit too and it is perfect autumnal wear.

It arrived in a lovely Rydale box, with tissue paper wrapping the jacket. When I took it out of the box I was very pleased with the look and feel of it.

The jacket is fitted and has a fully detachable drawstring hood, secure zipping pockets, full-length outer zip as well as a drawstring waist to keep the wind away it is waterproof too.

When I tried it on it felt quite warm for a lightweight jacket and could probably be worn for much of the winter too due to the windproof design.

Alas, the jacket and I were not acquainted for long; my daughter spotted it and immediately asked if she could have it since her jacket was getting a little on the small side I reluctantly agreed as I did already have a jacket although it would have been nice to have had a new one.

My daughter seems to not feel the cold too much so I am sure the jacket will be worn throughout autumn, winter and spring. I tend to want to snuggle in a down-filled coat mid-winter as I hate feeling cold.

The jackets shell and lining are 100% polyamide, filling 100% polyester and it is washable at 30 degrees Celsius but cannot be tumble dried. It is available in sizes 8-20 and colours navy, pacific (royal blue), cherry and smoke.

Overall, the design of the jacket is brilliant; it is well stitched and looks like it will last a good few years. We like it!
