I was sent two products from Home Bargains to review, 12 Solar Powered Daisy String Lights and Palm Springs Foldable Picnic Basket. As soon as they came I decided to put the lights up in my garden although I didn’t quite know where to put them as I have no trellises which they look great on. I decided to hang them on the fence to the side of my patio as there was already nails in the fence where something else had been there prior to use moving there. Plus there was an area below that I could put the solar panel.

They were hung up first thing in the morning so the solar panel got a lot of direct sunlight ready for the night time. There were instructions in the box on how to start using them. Ok so they are not hung up properly but I will be putting them elsewhere in my garden soon when my husband clears the area I want them to go to.

As soon as it got dark enough they turned on and were quite bright and dimmed as they started running out of solar charge. They do look pretty mainly in the day time as you cannot really see the daisies at night just the lights.
They are not something I would have picked myself if I am honest as I prefer fairy lights that I can wrap around my miniature conifers.

The Palm Springs Foldable Picnic Basket comes flat which shows straight away that it is foldable but upon opening it you will see two metal bars that you just push down to the bottom of each side and it is a full size picnic basket.

It has a cool bag interior and the lid zips up completely. It has an aluminium frame at the top with rubber handles plus five feet at the bottom.

I have used this several times this summer and I can tell you that I love it. Not only do I like the colour which is pink! but it has kept the food that I have put in there fresh and cool and it is so light weight it is easy to carry around. My hands did not get sore even with a heavier load of food and drink it because of the rubber handles.

What is even better is that when not it use it can be folded flat so it is easier to store.
I love it.
