I’m a vaper and have been for a few years, although I was smoking too. I gave up smoking completely on 1st October 2018 and have not looked back. I like to try new flavours of e-liquid, although I do have my favourites, it’s always worth trying out new ones as they could turn out to be my new favourite e-liquids, who knows, right?
For the purpose of this review, I was sent 10 x 10ml Halo e-liquids of my choice from E-Cigarette Direct. I decided to get 0.0% nicotine however, they are available in 0.0%, 0.3%, 0.6%, 1.2% and 1.8%
I will be running through what I thought of each but first, this is a little about Halo E-Liquid;

So here is the juice I chose and what I thought about them…
Apple & Apricot Halo E-Liquid 0MG
This fresh, juicy flavour is the perfect blend of summery fruit notes, with a crisp green apple top not on the inhale, and a mellow apricot on the exhale. The combination of fruits is deliciously complex, and you’ll love the hint of warm sweetness on the middle of the tongue.
Smelling the e-liquid from the bottle I could definitely smell both apricot and apple. Now it was time to vape with it.
When vaping the Apple & Apricot e-liquid I found that on inhaling I could taste the apricot, with a mellow apple on the exhale, even though it does state the other way round in the description.
The scent of the juice is quite strong but the actual flavour when vaping was not as strong. It was a nice flavour to vape with.
Bubble Trouble Halo E-Liquid 0MG
Improved Flavour! This fun bubble mint flavour combines the sweetness of tutti frutti with the coolness of mint for a vape that will leave your mouth feeling fresh. With fruity flavours on the inhale and a lingering spearmint on the exhale, Bubble Trouble is a mild, sweet flavour that is ideal for everyday vaping.
When smelling this one from the bottle I first got the scent of mint, then the bubblegum scent. When vaping it, it reminded me of the Bubbly bubblegum I used to have as a child, it tasted exactly the same and then on the exhale the spearmint was there. It was a pleasant mint flavour, not too strong so it blasts your mouth up. I really liked this. The combination of bubblegum and mint was nice and refreshing at the same time.
Fruit Fusion Halo E-Liquid 0MG
New Flavour! This complex flavour is one for the fruit connoisseurs, as it evolves on the tongue to reveal a delicious blend of notes. Fruit Fusion has a sweeter citrus inhale that develops into a bolder kiwi tone on the exhale, which lingers in the aftertaste. This e-liquid delivers a full mouthfeel, with thick mouth clouds that are full of flavour.
Smelling from the bottle, I could get some kind of citrus and something I couldn’t distinguish. I know now that is kiwi fruit. I didn’t much like this e-liquid. I didn’t like the aftertaste it gave, which was the kiwi. The inhale was okay though.
Lemon Fizz Halo E-Liquid 0MG
With its zesty blast f citrus notes and effervescent sherbet tones, Lemon Fizz is a bright, tangy flavour that perfectly treads the line between sharp and sweet. If you like the fizzy sourness of lemon sherbet sweets, then you’ll enjoy the lively taste of this classic e-liquid.
This one smells very much like when you put your nose in a bag full of sherbet lemon sweets, the lemon smells divine with the extra fizz scent too.
I had high expectations for this as it smelt so good, but it was quite synthetic on flavour, not sweet enough for me. My husband liked it a lot though.
Manic Mango Halo E-Liquid 0MG
Like a perfectly ripe mango, this mellow flavour is smooth and intriguingly creamy. Unlike some shaper fruit flavours, the soft, rounded finish of Manic Mango gives it an enjoyable mouthfeel, and the sunny flavour profile makes for an easy, everyday vape.
This e-liquid smells absolutely delicious, just like a mango sweet. Vaping it and I was very impressed with it as it tasted just the same. It was lovely. I would have preferred it to be a touch stronger though.
Passion Fruit Halo E-Liquid 0MG
The next best thing to drinking cocktails on a tropical beach, Pure Passion delivers a vape that’s bursting with authentic passion fruit notes. This mouthwatering e-liquid is an intense shot of juicy fruit flavour and will flood your mouth with the tart, tangy taste of natural passion fruit.
I could definitely smell the passion fruit flavour when smelling it from the bottle. Vaping I could again taste the passion fruit. I could vape it now and again, but not an everyday e-liquid for me.
Pear Drops Halo E-Liquid 0MG
Knee deep in nostalgia and perfectly delicious, Halo Pear Drops E-Liquid maybe even better than the real thing! The soft fruity sweetness ‘peared’ with that familiar sherbet tang will keep you going back to till it’s all gone… Just don’t get caught with your hand in the jar!
Smelling this from the bottle it smells exactly like the Pear Drop boiled sweets, delicious. Vaping it was exactly the same, a lovely flavour and tastes just like sweets. Delicious to vape with and one of my favourites!
Pineapple Juice Halo E-Liquid 0MG
Send your taste buds on holiday with this toe tappingly tropical addition to the Halo line up.
From the bottle, I get a nice strong scent of pineapple, maybe pineapple chunks sweets? I love pineapple so had huge hopes that I would like this, but, when vaping all I seemed to taste was a burnt pineapple taste. I didn’t like it at all.
Raspberry Crush Halo E-Liquid 0MG
Unlike more synthetic blue raspberry flavours, Raspberry Crush is true to the delicious taste of fresh berries. Like a sweet, sharp raspberry coulis, this natural-tasting flavour will immediately put you in mind of summer puddings and freshly-made compote. Its refreshing menthol overtones and cool exhale makes it perfect for the warmer months.
I could get a hint of raspberry but more menthol scent when smelling it from the bottle. Upon vaping this, OMG the blue raspberry with menthol overtones was really nice, I love blue raspberry flavour and this did not disappoint. It is one of my favourites and definitely an all day vape for me.
Summer Strawberry Halo E-Liquid 0MG
One for vapers who love the sweeter things in life, Summer Strawberry is a deliciously sweet e-liquid reminiscent of strawberry candy. This candy-coated flavour is full of strong fruity notes on the inhale but mellows out into a lighter, fresher taste on the exhale, making it an all-around crowd-pleaser.
This smelled like strawberry flavoured chew sweets and I was excited to vape it because of that. It does taste exactly the same as it smelled and I really liked it. I am not sure if it is an all day vape as it is quite sweet but definitely a vape a lot kind of juice.
Overall from the fruit-based Halo E-Liquids that I received there were some really nice ones and some not so nice ones, but that is my personal preference, other people may really like the ones I didn’t and not like the ones I did.
