Gaming is such a huge thing for kids and adults these days with Nintendo Switch, Play Station, Xbox, mobile phone games and PC. But not everyone wants to hear all the noise that comes with gaming. We were offered the chance to review Gioteck TX30 Stereo Game & Go Headsets which are available from Argos.
We were sent two pairs, blue and pink. Skye decided she wanted the blue pair and so as I like gaming too I had the pink headset.
Features;
- Minimal Feedback Lucid Chat
- 40mm High Impact Drivers
- Robust Build Quality
- Alacantra Cushioning
- Discreet Inline Mic
- 5mm jack
They’re suitable for PlayStation 4, Xbox One/360, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and Mobile too.
Both of the Game & Go Headsets are the same in style just different colours so I am basing this on the pink one as it is so much prettier than the plain blue/black one.
The headset is white, bright pink and purple, with the main colour being white on the part that goes on your head. On the underside, it is all bright pink as is the mesh on the earpieces. That actual ear pad trim is purple.
There is black Alacantra cushioning on the top part of the headset and earpieces. This is very soft and spongy and makes them comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
The cord is flat and purple it comes down from each ear to the inline mic and then a single flat cord the jack which again has a purple casing.
When using the inline mic you can tell whether it is on or off by the colour coding. The switch when it’s straight out of the box is green, slide it and it’s red. There is also a volume control wheel on the side. On the back is a clip so you can clip it to your collar or top pocket.
I really like the look of this particular headset. They’re bright and my favourite colours, pink and purple. If I put them down, they are easily found because of the colour. They are also lightweight which I like because they don’t start digging into my head after a while of gaming.
The earpieces are adjustable although they are a bit stiff to adjust the first couple of times.
The sound quality is really good, I have been listening to songs on YouTube via my iPad and the bass is amazing. No tinny sound at all. Even my husband Roger was impressed with the sound.
These are actually very good headsets. I am not sure how long they will last, time will tell. Especially with Skye who seems to get through headsets every few months. But at just £11.99 from Argos, it’s not breaking the bank and they do what they are supposed to do.
If you are looking for some last minute gifts or stocking fillers for your gamers I would definitely recommend the Game & Go Headset. Available in Blue, Pink and Green and they seem quite durable.
Disclaimer: We received these headsets for the purpose of this post and the Christmas Gift Guide series. All thoughts and opinions are our own and not influenced in any way.

Hiya I am having trouble making this tx30 work on switch. I can hear people through the headphones but they can not hear me. Is green slide when mic is on and red slide when it is off? Also is there anything I need to do within the settings.
Thanks in advance
Green is mic on and red is mic off. Try the control wheel on the side of the mic switch it might be turned down
