Freddy Flintoff Clothing at Jacamo

Jacamo have launched a new collection of clothing in collaboration with Freddy Flintoff and we were asked if we would like review an item from the collection.

I was surprised at the amount of clothing in the Freddy Flintoff collection, shirts, hoodies, jackets, trousers and more so it took a while looking on the Jacamo website for us to choose something that my husband would like. We decided on the  Flintoff by Jacamo Full Zip Hood hoodie in denim colour.

It arrived quickly and upon opening the package I was surprised at how good the quality was. The hoodie is quite thick and feeling and looking at it you can tell it has been made to a high standard.

Here is my husband modelling it.

It is made from 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester it is a good quality thickness with a fleece lining. There are two side pockets in the hoodie and a zip runs right through the centre. The hood is again made from the thick quality the rest of the hoodie has and there are two white drawstrings  on either side of it.

 

On the left chest is the Flintoff by Jacamo logo, with an embroidered FF  and design to it on the right outer top arm is  XI. Both elbows have patches which seem to e in fashion at the moment, they are the same colour as the rest of the hoodie and for someone that doesn’t like arm patches aka my husband he actually said it looks great and so much better than brown patches.

The Flintoff hoodie is really comfortable to wear, my husband likes it especially as it has been cooler over the last few days, I have also worn it as I wouldn’t be a proper wife if I didn’t borrow my husband’s clothes and I love it, it is thick but not heavy with it, the hood isn’t heavy, it zips up properly without getting stuck.  It covers my bum 😉

I have washed it several times since receiving it and it washes up really well, no shrinkage or colour run although the first wash was done with a colour catcher sheet in.  It has also been tumble dried because I never look at labels and shove them in the dryer and it dried well and did not shrink.

however after looking at the label it states that it should NOT be tumble dried. So do so at your own risk.

I am actually shocked we found something my husband actually likes wearing and something that fits him nicely. He has a big belly and most shops he goes to the clothing doesn’t fit. Jacamo offer this hoodie and many other clothing products in 7 sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL. This hoodie was a large and I did worry it would fit him but it seems to fit nicely.
