We were sent some adorable mini plush collectable characters to review recently.
Foodie Roos are cute little plush characters that look, feel and smell like their favourite foods. Each Foodie Roos container gives you a hint at which character is inside; it also has a little “Peek a Roo” window reveal.

There are 20 characters to collect in series 1.
We received 2 different Foodie Roos, Popcorn and Gummies.
Zander was with me when these came so of course, he wanted me to open them straight away as he is so inquisitive. He decided he wanted the Popcorn one and his sister could have the Gummies one so at least he was prepared to share.

When I opened the Popcorn one there was a small sheet of stickers so he could stick them around the “home” of the Foodie Roo, there was also a leaflet with a graphical list of all the Foodie Roos you can collect in series 1.
There was also a short story about the Foodie Roos;
One day in the town of Yummyville, These animals were enjoying their favourite foods and ate a little too much!
In a blink of an eye, they turned into their favourite food and became a Foodie Roo!
Now every Roo feels, looks and smells like their favourite good and is ready to pop out and play with you!

There are 2 different types of Foodies per category, for example, in the Popcorn category there is Kernel Kitty and Carmowl. Zander got Carmowl, so did it smell like caramel popcorn? Yes it did indeed, it was quite a strong smell too. Of course, Zander loved it and kept telling anyone who would listen to him to smell it, shoving it in front of their noses. I wouldn’t say it is a smell that everyone will like, but it definitely smells like what it should. It had lots of dark popcorn all over it and was obviously an owl.

The Gummies one we received was Bouncy Bear, this one did smell like jelly bears although we couldn’t pinpoint an actual scent, it was definitely sweets and fruity though. It was a little shorter than the owl but rounder and had gummy bears all over.
This one was my favourite for scent, as the other was a little overbearing for me.

The eyes and nose of both of these are embroidered so there are no worries of any small pieces falling off and it is quite cute. I can see why they would be popular, for the scent and the cuteness factors.
There are 20 to collect and cost around £7.99 each.
