You can declutter, get rid of the odour in the house (if there is one) and you can finally take some time to focus on the carpets and deep cleaning that you need to do, too. It isn’t a big improvement like replacing windows, but it’s one that will give you all the help that you need to make your home liveable.
- Rearrange. A great improvement to make is the way in which all your furniture is positioned. You can’t change up the floorplan of the house, but you can change the way that your things sit within it. You can make the home more open and you can make it flow better, allowing people to walk through the house with ease.
- Update all the fixtures. Swapping door handles, letterboxes, drawer handles and more, you can ensure that you offer your home the chance of a fast transformation. Updates like this don’t happen all that often, and the change that you make can work from colour to the material you use for all of the handles and door pulls. Don’t be afraid to go a little funky with it, either!
- Check your big ticket items. When was the last time you checked the energy efficiency of your home? Your appliances need to be up to scratch and it’s a good way to improve your home overall as the better energy efficiency will cost you less money!
