Zander loves nothing more than toys with wheels, tractors, trucks, trains, cars you could put a person on wheels and he would love it, they are his favourite go to toys at the moment.
We were offered the chance to review the BRIO My Home Town Camping Set and I just knew he would love it just as much as his other wheeled toys.
The BRIO My Home Town Camping Set has 6 pieces to the set, a car, caravan, canoe, a wooden dog and a wooden man and woman.
The camping set is aimed for children aged 18 months upwards. Each piece is perfect for small hands but not too small that if they put it in their mouth they will choke on it. The people and dog are made from solid wood and the car, canoe and caravan are made of thick durable plastic and they have no sharp edges at all and of course they are all very colourful.
As soon as Zander saw the box come in the post he was on it like a rash, wanting to play with it, I didn’t even think he would let me open it as he was carrying the box around not letting anyone have it.
Finally he did let me actually open it so he could see what was in there. His eyes lit up, ‘car car’ was the first thing he said, then he released there was people too, he grabbed them and told me and his sister he had ‘pee pol’. He started putting the people into the car and then laying them down in the caravan to go to sleep, but the dog had to sit at the end of the caravan, there was no room in the bed for him.
When the people decide to travel they can load everything on their car and caravan, Zander thought it was so funny that the canoe went on top of the car but on the man or woman’s head like a hat, he kept telling us they were wearing a hat.
The camping set is another huge hit from the Brio range and another that Zander plays with endlessly. I quite often realise it has gone quiet, thinking he is up to no good, look around and he is wheeling the car around or moving the people from the car to the caravan.
Overall we love it. If you have a toddler that loves cars and people they will surely love the BRIO My Town Camping Set.
