Review:

Aurora and Fenn had no memories about their childhood they could only remember what had happened since the day they were at Mily’s doorstep. Now older and still living together Aurora and Fenn want answers, they want to find out who their parents were. When they start to dig they find some strange things starting to happen when Mr Creepy arrives with a prophecy. Aurora and Fenn are part of this prophecy and have to find a way back to their realm and only once they go back will their past show itself to them.

I really enjoyed Born in Flames, Aurora may be different but she is different for a reason. Although she is a little stubborn I just wished she had woke up to her real feelings for Fenn before he went away. The novel is full of adventure, twists and having to grow up when you find out that a whole other world is relying on you. I loved Lexi she was so cute and a great friend even though their friendship in the book only started towards the end. She would do anything to keep Aurora safe.

I love dragons and all things mythical and magical and this book grabbed my attention very quickly and I was hooked.

Review:

Embracing the Flames beings 5 months after Aurora returns to the realm, she is now training, There is corruption in the Fates and Zordon’s army is getting strong and it won’t be long before he tries to get the Stone of Immortality.

Aurora is still finding her powers and she has to learn to merge with her dragon side which she is scared of as she cannot control her dragon side.

This novel was a rollercoaster of emotions and there were lots of twists and turns which I liked. With romance, fantasy, sadness and fear it made great reading.

Candace Knoebel is a fantastic author. Really looking forward to reading the 3rd and final book in the trilogy.

Candace Knoebel had dreamed of being a dancer ever since she could remember. With a love of all things art, she saw herself moving to New York and pursuing her passion as an artist. But all that changed on October 10th, 2002 when she met the love of her life. Her dreams diverged and after marrying her high school sweetheart and having two beautiful children, she realized she missed her creative side.

Growing up alongside the Harry Potter series, Candace found herself missing the epicosity of a story that pulls you in and won’t let you go. In 2009, she began dreaming up characters that would mold her first novel. Through lunch breaks and late nights, after putting her kids to bed, she built a world where she could escape the ever-pressing days of an eight to five Purgatory.
