It’s a Bonsai Tree – 365 Project – Day 6

My daughter’s both received a Magic Grow Your Own Crystal Bonsai Tree chemistry kit at Christmas in their stockings. My eldest grew hers in her bedroom and very cleverly knocked it over onto her bed covers and over her hands. She then rubbed her face. Not very wise as she ended up with a rash even after practically scrubbing herself to get the stuff off.

This lead to my youngest daughter being scared of actually touching it to even start to grow her crystal bonsai tree. She asked me to do it which only took a couple of minutes and I left it on the kitchen window ledge to finish ‘growing’.

I think it looks pretty and that is what it is my 365 project photo today.

The crystals are starting to fall off now and they are a kind of sponge texture. It was a great experiment but I think I will get something that is less likely to spill next time.
