I was lucky enough to be chosen to review some Bella and Bear products. I chose to review the Kabuki Foundation Brush, a Detangling Set and a Facial Hair Remover.
I will start with the Kabuki Foundation Brush, I have many foundation brushes, if you look in my makeup trunk you will see around 10 maybe more. I had been advised to try a Kabuki brush by my sister and daughter and they did recommend the Bella and Bear one.
When it came it was presented in a lovely Bella and Bear patterned box which is called vintage floral, upon opening the box inside was the brush which had a net over the bristles.
The bristles are really soft, it is easy to grip and I have found that it helps give an even application for my foundation.
I wash my brushes once a week and thus far it has kept it shape and softness and no bristles have fallen out.
The detangling set came with a detangling brush and a comb both again had the vintage floral design which is Bella and Bear’s signature design. It also came with a drawstring bag which also had the pattern on it.
My hair is a complete nightmare to brush because it is thick it gets tangled very quickly, trying to brush my hair after washing is a painful ordeal even with lots of conditioner. I have never been able to get a comb through my hair at all be it wet or dry. I tried the comb and brush after washing my hair and I found it a much nicer experience than I had been getting using a regular brush.
The brush went through my hair and when it snagged on a knot it gently went through it without pulling. The comb even wet through it without getting stuck which surprised me.
I have now thrown my regular brush away and only use the Bella and Bear detangling set as it is easier to use and gentler on my hair.
Finally we have the Facial Hair Remover, this came with the spring like contraption for removing the hair but also a pair of tweezers and a lovely drawstring bag to keep it all together.
I do not have an overly hair face but sometimes I get the odd few hairs that are longer than the rest and so I decided to use this on them. It takes a while to get the knack of doing it and it does hurt when it grabs a few tiny hairs and pulls them out. But it does work as it is supposed to. The tweezers are handy if you miss a hair or two and you can just pluck them extra ones out.
I am really liking all of Bella and Bear products at the moment and would definitely recommend them. All of these products are available on Amazon.
I am giving away a Detanging Set and an Eye brush set to one lucky winner.
