Claire Wolfe is a police detective, her sister was brutally murdered when she was 14 and from then on, the blame has always been laid on Claire from her mother.
Claire returns to her hometown twelve years later to try and solve what happened to her sister but as calls to the station come in about murders similar to Claire’s sisters, she is convinced that the murderer is the same person.
Unfortunately for Claire evidence builds up and it sets her in the frame for her sister’s murder. Can she find the truth before she loses everything?
I am a huge fan of thrillers; Jamie Millen wrote a fantastic thriller that is definitely worthy of five stars. It was fast-paced and had lots of twists that I really enjoyed.
I listened to an audio copy, and it was perfection, the narrator expressed the story very well.
I am looking forward to reading more of Claire Wolfe in the next book in the series.
