We were offered the chance to try out the 2EzBags and 2Handy ScrubRite Scourers. I had not heard of the brands before but I am always up for trying something new.
Let’s start with the 2EzBags;

If you are anything like me, you will go to the supermarket and just as you get out of the car you will remember you left your bags at home. I then end up buying more bags. This is where EzBags are fantastic, it is a small pouch with three full-size shopping bags inside and each of these bags can hold up to 11kgs! They’re 100% polyester and can be machine washed at a low temperature.

The pouch has a clip which you can clip to your belt loop or on or in your bag and it also has a handy trolley token with it too. There have been many times I have been caught without a £1 coin for the trolleys so this is handy to have.

The 2EzBags come with two different sets, a black set and also what is labelled as a floral set but it’s actually a butterfly pattern.

The proof is in the testing though and so I took these to the supermarket with me to give them a good going over with milk, pet food and quite heavy products being put in the bags. They do indeed hold a lot of shopping in just one bag, they do not look strained at all, I checked the bag out when I got home and there are no pulls or snags, but what is more important is that even with the weight when filled, the handles never cut into my hands.
I really like them, and the fact that you just scrunch them into the pouch after use is great as who wants to faff about after shopping?

Next, we have the 2Handy ScrubRite Scourers which are a new improved scourer/scrubber. Designed to be retained securely on the hand with no slipping and lighter grip. These are a 2 in 1 cleaner made from 75% polyester and 25% steel wool.
I received 2 non-abrasive scourers and 1 abrasive scourer. The non-abrasive is a nylon mesh ring, perfect for everyday cleaning of baked-on food and for getting into corners of dishes, trays and bowls. And the abrasive is for heavy-duty scrubbing, the ring is tough steel wool and is capable of dealing with blackened, burnt-on stains that have been baked onto your cookware time and time again.

What I like about these “donuts” is that you just push your hand in the hole and get scrubbing, it is so easy and perfect for those that suffer from arthritis and similar as you do not need to put any effort in it really at all, just move it forwards and backwards. Because you are not holding them like conventional scourers they really are great for dexterity issues but anyone can use them.

I have been using them for a few weeks now and they do make the job of washing my dishes, pots and pans an easier task.
Each scourer is said to last roughly three months so a pack of 8 which they are sold in will last a year. They can also be bought in packs of two. I think they are reasonably priced for the length of time they last and I would definitely purchase more and I may get some for my nan too as I think they would be so handy for her.
