I was sent a tub of Sinivalia Clay Face Mask to review and I couldn’t wait to get my hand on it to try it out as it sounded brilliant from the write up.
This clay face mark had anti-ageing benefits and is for all skin types. It calms acne, reduces blackheads and pore size. It is for men and women. It moisturises dry skin and balances oily and sensitive skin. It will hydrate and cleanse your skin and simulates collagen for firmer skin.
My skin is not really that bad at the moment but I will try anything to keep it that way.
The face mask comes in a powder and is really easy to mix to a face mask. Simple mix 2 teaspoons of water with two teaspoons of powder. Mix it up until it turns into a thick paste consistency. I use the inside of the tubs lid for this as once any residue has dried it is easy to remove. It does take a while to mix up and can be a little messy.
It is made from just one ingredient, bentonite clay powder.
Apply to the face at about 1/4 of an inch thickness. Leave the mask to set for about 20 minutes then remove with warm water and soft cloth such as a flannel.
It can also be used as a spot treatment by mixing up 1/2 a teaspoon of water with 1/2 teaspoon of the clay powder and apply it before bed and leave on overnight although I have not tried this myself.
I applied the mask to my face as directed and left it for a good 20 minutes although it could have been a little longer as I got distracted. It was easy to apply, quite a smooth procedure and took no time at all.
It washed off good although it did take a little while to get it all off.
After patting my face dry and leaving it for a few minutes I had to feel my skin to see if it had made a difference to the feel of it. And I can happily say yes it did. It feels nicer after using the mask, softer. Any redness from spots were reduced and my skin looked pinker. It all looked like it had a more even tone to it too.
I have not noticed any difference with wrinkles but as mine are around my eyes and I avoided the eye area with the mask this does not surprise me.
I use this twice a week and will continue to do so, the tub is quite big and it is filled to the brim with powder and I have barely used any out of it so far so it will last me quite a while.
A tub of Sinivalia Clay Face Mask is on offer on Amazon UK at the moment priced at £10.99 for 240g.
