I love stationary and planners are one thing I cannot live without, not just for blogging but it is also handy for adding appointments and special dates which seem to be a lot at the moment.
I was delighted to be offered to review a planner from Unique Planners by Pirong and it was so easy to choose and personalise my planner. The first thing I did was go onto the website and choose what I wanted out of Life Planners, Wedding Planners, Academic or Notebooks. I chose an A5 Life Planner.
I was then taken to another page where I could choose the format of my planner out of 2 different horizontal layouts or vertical formats. I could also choose my start date from that page too which were April 2016, August 2016 or January 2017. Once happy with those selections it was time to start designing it. I could choose which covers I wanted on the front and back, these were hard back covers and you can choose out of a lot of covers and can personalise them with photos or wording.
All you have to do to select your preferred cover is click and drag onto the planner in the centre of the screen. It really is that easy.
Once the covers were chosen I ventured to the first page of the planner, clicked page content and added a personalised page where I could add all my details in case my planner got lost. I then skipped the planner dates page and went to page 134 where I could start adding pages that I wanted. Lists, Notes, New Year’s Resolutions, Birthdays, Book Log, Books To Read, Family Activities, Christmas Card List, Christmas Gift List, Contacts and a Bucket List.
Once completely happy with it I went through and ordered it. From the ordering page I could choose the colour of the wire binding, ribbon colour, elastic closure, plastic pockets and washi tape, there was more to choose from too. I then ordered.
Less than a week later my Life Planner had arrived to my door and it was even better than it looked in the preview. Along with the washi tape etc. that I had ordered when I looked in the plastic pocket I found Month Tabs which I could add onto my planner and make it easier to open where I needed it to and it also had a positioning guide so the tabs would fit on perfectly and equally. There were also four blank tabs included. There were several small star stickers and some stickers with little images on like pumpkins and fireworks which can be used on special event dates and some larger rectangular stickers with the same images and a space for you to write in them. But that wasn’t all; they even included a packet of filing tabs in bright colours which will come in very handy.
I have used my planner since the day I received it, the date sections are quite large so I can write a lot in them if needed. On the start of a new week there is a Mini Week Planner, a Check List and a Weekly Goal section on the left page and on the right is the seven days of that week. Every new month is a Month At A Glance with boxes for you to write special things in and a small section to write notes too.
My Life Planner is perfect for my needs, it is fantastic quality, not only having a hardback but also the pages are nice and thick. I loved it so much that I have ordered another one ready for the New Year!
My planner cost £31.50 including postage which I think is a reasonable price for a good quality personalised planner.
