Zander loves to build things especially cars, no surprises there! We were sent a box of Fun Bricks build and play and he was super excited when he saw there were cars on the front of the box.
The Fun Bricks – build and play have 50 pieces inside the box and it is suitable from age 18 months up.
The bricks have smooth ended spikes all over them which helps them interlock with each other so you can build with ease.
They are fantastic for younger children as they are very durable and will not break even with heavy-handed kids.
I liked that the bricks are bright colours are this immediately grabs the attention of small children and they help children develop hand-eye coordination.
Zander wanted the box opened as soon as he saw it but he was quite happy playing with the box for a while. It wasn’t that long before I had to get it all out for him though.
As soon as I took the bricks out of the packaging he was on it. Wanting to build straight away. I did leave him to his own devices for a few minutes to see what he would do with them but heard him moaning. He couldn’t work out how to put the wheels on. With a little help from mummy, we got the car fixed and he was quite happy wheeling his new car around the living room.
He liked that there was a person brick with the set that he could put on his car too. He has had hours for fun with the Fun Bricks so far and plays with them every day.
They are not good if you step on them as I have found several times haha.
Overall this a great little set for both girls and boys and is available from Amazon and all good toy stores.
