I was asked if I would like to review some products from Flamingo Gifts and after taking a look at their website and being amazed at how many different products they had to offer I was overjoyed to be asked. I had not heard of the website beforehand and I am so glad I do now as it caters for everyone and will be my first stop whenever there is a gift needed.
Here is what I received;
As a blogger I write a lot. If I am not writing for my blog, then it is for my books and much of the time this is all done on paper first. I go through a lot of notepads, jotting down ideas, lists and notes to myself.
I received an A5 Thoughts and Doodles Notebook, it actually says on the front of the book Thoughts and doodles of an undiscovered genius. It has a lot of pages to write on that all ruled. It has pink gilded edges, printed endpapers and a yellow elastic closure. The covers are hardback. It measure 210mm x 140mm x 15mm.
Now this may be my favourite notebook that I have of all time at the moment. It is different than others that I have seen and I love the colours.
This notebook fits in my bag lovely and it comes out wherever I go so I can take notes on the go. I like the elastic closure as it means the notebook cannot be damaged while fetching it in and out of my bag. It would make a great gift for anyone that writes even if it is just writing a journal and costs £7.99.
I have a blog planner and the days get filled pretty quickly which means I have no space to write anything else in there, that is where the Freaking Organised sticky notes come in.
This is a pack with lots of small sticky notes. They are great as they are small enough to fit in the day space of my planner. On the front it says I am so freaking organised! The packet is made of card and it folds out to reveal the sticky notes.
I am not sure what I will use the notes with wording on but they will get used for something.
The sticky notes are thicker than others available on the market too so they are less likely to curl up.
These would be great for bloggers, writers, and those in school, college and university. They cost just £3.99.
As you may be aware I am a huge Gorjuss fan so much so that I do buy a lot of Gorjuss things if I see something I like, I have bags, bookmarks, Cross Stitch kits to name but a few. Here are the 2 Gorjuss products I received.
First we have the Gorjuss We Can All Shine compact mirror. It is so pretty with the top having a Gorjuss girl wearing a purple dress, a purple heart in her dark hair and holding a jar of shining stars. Open it up and there are two mirrors inside and one of those is a magnified reflection.
It also comes with its own black pouch to keep it looking beautiful. It measures 60mm x 8mm and is an ideal size for putting in my bag. I am definitely taking this away with me in June, it is the ideal size for when I am out and about.
The second product is Gorjuss Puddles of Love Lip Balm. This is one of my favourite Gorjuss designs as it reminds me of a photo I took of my daughter a while ago while she was under her umbrella.
The tin looks so pretty and is a nice size. It holds 13g. The vanilla smells divine and it I can smell it for a while after applying. It leaves my lips feeling moisturised especially when they have been a bit dry.
The lipbalm is also available in different tin designs and scents and costs £4.50
I like the thin scarves available, not only do they look nice and fashionable, they set off an outfit with a pop of colour but also they keep your neck a little warmer so is perfect for Spring and Autumn months in particular. I received a Pastel Pink Hummingbird scarf which is 200cm in length. I don’t usually wrap it around my neck unless I am quite cold so just leave it hanging around my neck. As I usually wear dark colours it does add a bit of colour. It is machine washable thankfully as this has been dipped in ice cream more than once as well as ketchup *blush*. It costs just £9.99 and is gorgeous.
Period pains can be awful, I only get them for a couple of days but I hate them, the only way to ease them is putting heat on my tummy. We received a Microwavable Lemmee which is from Yoohoo & Friends and is a lemur, an endangered animal from Madagascar. Lemmee is so soft and cuddly that my youngest daughter and me had to make a deal. I would use it for tummy ache but she would use it at any other times. That suited both of us perfectly. With the lavender scent it gives off a nice relaxing scent. It has really helped with the pains for me and is a great cuddle monster on colder evenings for my daughter.
Lemmee is suitable for 3 years and up and costs £13.99.
