I usually shave my legs but I find that my legs do not feel as smooth as when I epilate or wax. I was asked if I would like to review the Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit and as I had heard good things about this waxing kit I decided I would try it.
Inside the box is;
A self heating device, cap and base
50ml roll-on wax refill
12 non-woven strips
4 Veet Perfect Finish Wipes
I followed the instructions, inserting the wax refill into the heating device, put it on the base and plugged it in and waited for it to heat up. It states on the instructions that it takes a maximum time of 30 minutes to reach the ideal temperature.
I waited for the 30 minutes and found that it wasn’t quite right as it was not rolling on properly so I left it for another few minutes. It was heating for about 45 minutes before I found that the wax rolled on properly.
I rolled it onto my leg in one strip and placed the strip on top of it, gave it a rub so it was smooth and then pulled the strip off.
It did take most of the hair out although I did have to go over it again.
It left a sticky residue on the skin which after washing and using the Perfect Finishing Wipes it was gone.
My legs felt nice and smooth, and there was no soreness on my skin like I get when epilating.
I do like this kit as it does do what it is supposed to but as a busy mum it does take a lot longer than using regular waxing, epilating or shaving as I have to wait a while for the wax to heat up.
Would I recommend it?
If you have time to wait for the wax to heat up then yes and as it only needs to be done every 2 weeks or so it isn’t that much time really. However if you have little time then this might not be right for you.
The Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit costs around £29.99 and available at Boots, Superdrug, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s and Amazon UK.
