Summer Time Will Soon Be Upon Us

I do not like Winter, the cold, the nights drawing in early, it is depressing but it won’t be long until Summer will be here. I am already looking forward to all the things we can do in the back garden.

We love to eat out in the garden, having a barbecue or just sandwiches but we only have the parasol umbrella that came with our patio set and it does not really do a great job in protecting the children from the sun while eating. We would love to buy one of those lovely patio awnings like the ones at nationwideltd.co.uk. They cover the whole patio not just a patch like the umbrellas do so it protects the children from getting burnt while eating their food so much more. It would also be great for me while reading as I am the first to get sunburnt.

Apart from just eating outside we do a lot of fun activities in the garden too.

My children have a trampoline which they love to bounce on for hours, They do little routine jumps and see who can jump the highest. They also have a swing which gets a huge amount of use and also Swingball. This isn’t just for the children though we all take turns in competing against each other. Summertime is also a time where the paddling pool comes out and lots of splashing and water fights happen.

I prefer to be either making my flowerbeds look nice or sit and read.

We are rarely stay indoors when it’s nice and sunny as we all love to be outside in the fresh air and having fun as a family.

We sometimes make up our own little games too. We just love Summer!
