I was offered the chance of trying some products from Shake That Weight and of course I accepted considering I have put on so much weight since having Zander. Ok so I know I haven’t helped myself, but when you are lacking sleep 19 months on I am sure a lot of us reach out for a chocolate bar or something equally not so healthy for you to boost your energy.
Shake That Weight is a meal plan diet, they have a range of meal replacement products including shakes and meal replacement bars and low calorie meals too including oatmeal porridge, Noodles, Soups and ready meals. Fancy a snack? They also have low fat, low carb and high protein snacks to keep you going.
I was offered a 2 week plan, there are 2 options for women, Woman with Meal Plan which is a very low calorie diet. It is suitable for those with a BMI of 25+, you can have 3 Shake That Weight meal products per day and then you can prepare your own meal of 400 calories. You do need to drink a minimum of 2 litres of water per day.
The other option is Woman Plan which is a total meal replacement diet. It is suitable for those with a BMI of 30+. You can have 4 meal products per day so with this plan you would have a shake or porridge for breakfast, shake for lunch, meal replacement bar mid afternoon and then a ready meal for dinner all from the Shake That Weight website. You also need to drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
I chose the Woman with Meal plan so will be preparing my own dinners.
This is what I chose for my plan;
Chocolate porridge, I love flavoured porridge so this was an obvious choice for me. There is also Porridge Paradise available which is plain porridge.
For my shakes I decided to choose Strawberry Passion, Banana Blitz and Caramel Delight however there are quite a lot of different choices for shakes on the website.
I also chose Meal Replacement Bars, Milk Choc Joy, Maple and Almond Bliss, Lemony Yoghurt and Marvellous Muesli. They also have Dreamy Dark Chocolate however I do not like dark chocolate so decided against that flavour.
I chose a couple of bags of snacks, just to see what they were like really as oppose to actually needing to eat them, Sour Cream and Cheddar Zippers. They also have Barbecue Zippers, Barbecue Diet Protein Crisps, Smokey Cheese and Ham Protein Wafer, Velvety Vanilla Protein Wafer, Crispy Choco Protein Wafer and Salt and Vinegar Protein Crisps.
So there you can see what I have from Shake That Weight while on the 2 week plan. The meals I will be preparing will be low carb, low sugar and high protein meals that are quick and easy to prepare.
I will write another post 2 weeks from starting the plan and letting you know how I got on, how the shakes, porridges, meal replacement bars and snacks tasted and also tell you how much if any I lost during the 2 weeks.
