We were invited to take part in JOHNSON’S® Messy Play Challenge and was sent a few goodies to get messy.
The goodies included were, poster paints, paintbrushes, stretched canvas, an apron a pack of JOHNSON’S® Gentle All Over baby wipes and a pack of JOHNSON’S® Messy Play Challenge extra sensitive baby wipes which were fragrance free.
My daughter was quite excited about getting messy, what child doesn’t like getting messy and so I let her paint until her heart was content.
She decided she would draw on the canvas first as she wanted to do a Pokémon themed painting.
Once she was happy with the drawing she got the paints and paint brushes out.
One minute I saw a nice clean child happily painting carefully and the next her hands were red!
Caught red handed indeed. I asked how she had managed to go from clean to covered in paint in one minute and she replied ‘well it is called messy play’. You can’t argue with that.
In all honestly I left her covered in paint up until she had finished her masterpiece as what really is the point in cleaning her up for her to get covered in paint again? Once she had finished and I had managed to get a photo of her painting it was time to clean up.
We used the JOHNSON’S® Gentle All Over Wipes to clean her up as they were the nearest to us at the time.
JOHNSON’S® have recently devised a brand new dispensing system for their baby wipes. The wipes now are dispensed one at a time, meaning the wipes never come out in a clump any more. This not only ensures you only get one wipe per pull but also lets you grab a wipe one handed and they are easier to open too with a thicker flap opening instead of sticky tape kind of sealer. It also cuts down on waste making the packs last longer.
I must admit that the wipes do clean up messy hands very well and quickly. It is so much easier to pull out one wipe now and the flap at the top ensures that the wipes do not dry out so every one is nice and moist. Even a child can grab a wipe quickly and easily with this new design.
Here are some photos of my daughter cleaning herself up.
This took a few minutes, that is it and she was as clean as she was before starting to paint.
I really like the new and improved version of the wipes and they are always handy to have in my bag or changing bag. I will definitely be using them in future to wipe up after messy plays but also for mucky faces, while we are out and about nappy changes for my baby.
