It’s that time of year, in less than 3 weeks time I will be going to BritMums Live 2015, and I am really looking forward to it.
I was scared last year – see last year’s post – and funny enough I am a little bit scared this year too. I am sure I will be fine when I get there. Especially as I am going with my sister so already I have someone to go around with.
I have joined in with the I’m going to BritMums Live 2015 Linky.
Shoulder length brown hair (although will be deep burgundy when I attend)
Is this your first blogging conference?
No I went to BritMums Live 2014.
Are you attending both days?
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015:
I am going with my sister Amie this year and am looking forward to spending 2 days away with her. I am also looking forward to meeting the lovely Vicky who will definitely be my partner in crime this year! I am hoping to bump into Jules too, seeing Jacinta again and also make new friends as that is always great 🙂 Yes socialising is one of the main things, as is meeting the brands and the BiBs, alcohol fuelled awards.
What are you wearing:
I really don’t know yet. It will be something comfortable though, other than that I have no idea I will probably buy something a few days before. I will wear flat and I will be packing flip flops for definite as I got a massive blister last year. I think the only definite item I have is my bag.
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
More knowledge about different aspects of blogging, I am particularly interested in the YouTube, the SEO session and Social Media Optimisation sessions, So you will definitely see me in them.
I also hope to gain more friendships (hopefully).]
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
Wear flat shoes, the amount of walking you will do is immense.
Make sure you have headache tablets with you – I ended up with a really bad headache on the Friday, it is very loud and overwhelming if you are not used to it although my husband thinks that it down to the London smog?!
Put plasters in your bag – this goes with wearing flats sort of, I wore flats last year but still got a huge blister. Luckily I had plasters in my bag.
Don’t forget your phone charger or power bank. The amount of times you will take photos on your phone and post to social media sites your phone my drain quickly.
My main tip would be to just enjoy it. If you would rather not go to any sessions then don’t it is entirely up to you. In fact I think I only went to one on the Friday.
See you there 🙂
